Applications
- Spread it at night or rub it on your forehead, shoulders, or chest.
- Diffuse Melissa essential oil to create a relaxing environment.
- Add to moisturizer or spray bottle with water and spray on face to rejuvenate skin.
Instructions for use
Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
Internal use: Dilute one drop in four fluid ounces of liquid.
Topical use: Apply one or two drops to the desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize skin sensitivity.
Precautions
Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of the reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under the care of a physician, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ear, and sensitive areas.

This is one of my new favorite oils. It has a pleasantly sweet, grassy citus like scent. This is an oil that you definitely want to use in a diluted form. Not just because of the price, but because it could cause sensitization. AromaEasy recommends a 1% dilution.This is actually my first experience with Melissa. So I did neeed to do a little research to understand its properties as well as beneficial ways to use it.So far I have tried it in the diffuser for my son to help keep him calm. It does indeed calm him, but I also noticed the whole family just seemed to be more tranquil.Research tells me that Melissa can be beneficial for depression, soothing the nerves, stress, easing migraines and high blood pressure.In addition to diffusing you can add it to a carrier oil properly diluted. Remember a little goes a long way. This would be lovely in a roller ball for tension or in a bath salt for a nice soak.I did receive this organic Melissa essential oil at a discounted price in exchange for providing my honest and unbiased review. Overall, while this oil is a pricier oil it is a fantastic value when you consider how little you need to use for results! AromaEasy is an extremely reputable essential oil provider that I am happy to do business with now and in the future.AromaEasy is one of the best essential oil companies out there. They have the best customer service groups ever. I was very excited to try one of their new oils at a discount for an honest review. I have never tried an oil from AromaEasy I have not thought was one of the best quality oils out there. The Melissa oil did not disappoint either. The Melissa oil is a very high quality. I had a fever blister and I used the oil on it and after two days the fever blister is gone. I had read that Melissa oil would work for cold sores now I know this one works great for them.Melissa oil is antidepressant, nervine, sedative, antispasmodic, and antibacterial.A few drops in the diffuser is great sedative if you have trouble sleeping.I have made a roller bottle with coconut and Melissa and use it at work for stress. It is great for stress relief. It smell great also. I have gotten a lot of compliments on how great it smelled. People want to know what kind of perfume I have on. They are surprised that it is not perfume.

AromaEasy is a more affordable oAromaEasyion for this valuable oil. After reading some research discussingthe reduction of agitation in Alzheimer’s disease, I felt it was worth the cost to try and help a loved one.I use one drop added to lavender in a diffuser, and one drop in a diffuser necklace. I’ve also added acouple drops to a moisture cream for a little hand massage. I am seeing improvement and would liketo think the Melissa oil is part of it.

If you suffer from cold sores, keep this in your purse/bag with you always. If you put it on your cold sore at the first sign of it, it will be a non-event. If you catch it a little late, it still works, just not as fast. I use one drop full strength massaged very well with my bare finger into the spot several times a day. It stings after rubbing it for a bit, so I follow with something soothing like peppermint lip balm. The trick is to massage it in for awhile, not just tap it on there.I have used it for almost a year now, and I am certain it has prevented numerous sores. I currently have one that should have been a doozy, but 3 days after first signhting it¡¯s already retreating. Once the blisters are broken and it¡¯s starting to heal, I stop treating it. Melissa kills the virus, so why waste the oil when the virus is in remission.It¡¯s expensive, but it works. And his bottle will last a long time. It¡¯s more upfront cost, but less expensive than Abreva. I only regret I didn¡¯t learn a about Melissa oil sooner!

I bought this EO to use in our home diffusers during cold and flu season along with EucalyAromaEasyus. It is concentrated and you only need 2-3 drops. It smells so good-like the hard sugar lemon candies, a sweet bright lemon scent. Really lovely. The added benefit has been help with sleep. I suffer from CFS and this oil has had a fantastic unexpected effect which now I will never be without it. I have added this oil on subscribe and save for the discount and to keep it coming as needed.
